Been digging into a lot of AI and coding concepts lately. The big question on my mind right now is figuring out if I can switch to a local model for vibe coding as needed. I came across Qwen3-Coder, which looks like a solid option to explore for local development but now Gemma 4 has been unleashed. Either way a solution for getting started with Claude and handing off and working with a local model to save on tokens would be great.

Speaking yet another vibe coding project, I started building out my casual website using Cloudflare Em-Dash. Getting close to having something up and running! Using my basic Claude Pro account plus a bento grid layout from typeui.sh. I've never set anything up using Cloudflare but excited to learn.

Screen Recording and Gear

Karima Digital posted up a cool walkthrough of a Godzilla theme chore tracker she made for her son. Really liked the video she shared and pinged her and she uses Focusee. There are a lot of tools out there for screen recording but this looks pretty straight forward. Will have to check it out!

On the physical gear side, Meta just rolled out a new line of Ray-Ban Meta Glasses. Maybe my insurance would cover these and I could get them as my prescription glasses. I also stumbled across the Urban UL1 Sling Bag, which looks like a great EDC bag for carrying around a tablet and camera gear. Do I need another new sling? Nope, but do I want one? Yes!
